Privacy Policy
Share my dev stack is a single-user showcase site with no accounts, no database, and no backend. This page explains what little data is involved and how you can control it.
What we store in your browser
These are all functional and stay on your device — none of them are sent to a server:
- Sidebar state — a cookie remembering whether the sidebar is open or collapsed.
- Theme preference — light/dark mode, stored in localStorage.
- Analytics consent decision — your Accept/Decline choice below, stored in localStorage.
Sharing your stack
When you build a stack on /my-stack and click Share, the selected technologies are encoded directly into the URL (e.g. /shared?cards=React,Zustand). Nothing is stored server-side — the link itself is the only record of your stack, and only exists if you choose to copy and share it.
Analytics (optional)
With your permission, this site uses Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics to understand traffic — page views, outbound technology-link clicks, and stack-builder interactions (like adding or removing a technology). These scripts do not load at all until you click Accept, and declining stops them immediately. We don't intentionally log report content, addresses, or any other personal data beyond what these providers collect by default for anonymous traffic analysis.
